It’s all gone a bit quiet on the Goodison Park front since it was announced that Roberto Martinez would replace the departing David Moyes as Everton boss.
But what we do know so far is that the Spaniard, along with Toffees chairman Bill Kenwright, has his sights set on taking his new club to the dizzy heights of Champions League qualification, a feat his predecessor only managed once during his 11-year tenure.
But with European glory a long way off, Martinez will first have to tackle his inaugural transfer window as Everton manager.
