The 15 Premier League transfers that simply proved ‘a step too far’

The Premier League is full of some of the game’s best talents including players from all over the globe. However, for every Thierry Henry, there’s another ten Tomas Brolins. And by that, I mean utter tripe. Players so bad you’d be embarrassed to bring them down to your local park. However, some scout somewhere must have seen some potential in those players once upon a time, as clubs often pay out pricey fees for certain individuals.

For whatever reason, some players are just cut out to fail in the Premier League, and often it’s not for a lack of trying. They may have impressed at other clubs, but quite often players simply cannot make the step up to perform at the required level in England. Here’s a list of some of those who moved to the Premier League with much expected of them, only to fail miserably when they got there.
